Flower Power

Welcome friends, I had a fun, fun week end. How about you? Saturday my grand daughter and I went to a Quinceanera. My niece's daughter was celebrating her fifteenth birthday. It started with a church service where she dedicated the rest of her life to walking with our Lord and serving Him. A reception followed where we enjoyed live music and delicious food. A scrapbook of photos and of her fifteen years circulated where we were invited to journal our sentiments to her. Afterwards we were treated to videos of her fifteen years. A second video followed of her and her Court of Honor having fun at the beach, at the park, at school and just being teens. Very enjoyable. By evening, every one was dancing to lively music provided by a DJ. What a day it was. Very exciting.

Now on to today's card share. Some of you may remember the retired Simply Scrappin' kit Flower Power. I finally put it together. That was so fun and easy to do. Would you believe all of the card stock and inks are still current as well as the stamp set Wow Flowers. My personal touch was the use of the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch. Try saying that three times. I made three of each of those cards. I packaged them with envelopes and gifted them to my niece. My grand daughter gifted her a purity ring. So Sweet. Thank you for stopping by today. See you tomorrow. Be blessed.

  2. Oh, my goodness. I remember that kit so well. I loved it. I made it all up as soon as I got it! How fun to see them again. Still beautiful. Loved reading about your celebration with your granddaughter. What a wonderful, special time. I know it meant so much to have you there to share it all with her. Praise God for her decision! Blessings on your day!
