Button Button

G'day stamper friends. After watching the Oscars I was influenced to speak a lil' down under. My interest in watching the Oscars is having the opportunity to see all the beautiful dresses and gorgeous stars. Movies, not so much. I try to watch at least one of the winning movies every year but most of the time to no avail. Did you watch the Oscars? What's your reason? Porque? I also heard a lil' Spanish. I have been wondering if any of my readers speak/read Spanish. I do but don't have many opportunities to use it anymore. If you know of someone who would like a Spanish speaking demo. I'm here. Pueden hablar conmigo. Estoy desponible para servirles. Bueno vamos a ver la tarjeta de hoy. See. I said, "You may speak to me. I am available to serve you. Let's look at today's card." This is one of the cards I did for my ladies at stamp camp. They really enjoyed using the scallop border punch. I like my color combo and watching them have a good time was fun. The shopping list follows.

Stamp set: Button, Button (in Occasions mini)
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Springtime Vintage DSP
Ink: Regal Rose
Accessories: Scallop border punch, dimensionals, glue dots, Buttons from Occasions mini and some retired buttons.

I forgot to ask if my wish was granted. Did you have a great week end? I hope so. Thank you for visiting and come back again. God bless.

Paper Corsage

Hello stamper friends. It's Fabulous Fun Friday! My share today is .... In k-1 we called it Show and Tell way back in the eighties. In the nineties it became Share Day. By 2thousand something, we no longer had time for share or show and tell. Oops I digressed. I could go on and on with stories about my teaching days. I'm still digressing. Today I am sharing this wonderful corsage my friend Rose made for me. She said it was easy peasy to make. I'll let you know if it is for me after I try it. It's pretty, huh? My big wish for you is that you have a great week end. See you next week? God bless you .

Happy Birthday

Welcome friends. I have to start today expressing my appreciation for all the nice comments. Thank you very much. Today for my show and tell (oops it's not Friday), I am sharing the birthday card I created. Clean and simple it was. Maybe it needs some smudging to distress it a bit. What do you think? I made this card late at night. In the morning, I noticed the buttons were not really pink. So, my feelings about how bad the lighting is in my craft room were confirmed. I need to remember to use my Ott Light from now on. Thank you for visiting and for leaving comments. The shopping list follows.

Stamp set: single stamp I kept from a retired set. Don't know what I did with the rest of the set nor it's name.
Paper: Marina Mist, Bashful Blue, Love Patterns DSP
Accessories: Pretty in Pink satin ribbon, Corner Rounder punch, buttons (retired), Scallop border punch

See you tomorrow? God bless you.

Just Believe

So glad to have you visiting again. If this is your first visit here, I hope you will enjoy your visit and return often. Today my share is another card I made at stamp camp. Sarah featured this card at her table. I enjoyed making this pretty card. So easy too. I wish I could tell you the name of the technique we used. The technique was featured about 4-6 weeks ago on one of my favorite stamper's gallery. There are two ways to make this card depending on how vibrant you want your ink colors to look. I chose the faded (or light) look. I covered the natural white card stock in glue using a glue stick. Then I placed a sheet of tissue paper over the glue to cover the card stock. I trimmed away the excess tissue. Next, I stamped over the tissue. If you know the name of this technique I would love it if you shared it with me. Your shopping list follows.

Stamp Set: Just Believe
Paper: Peach Parfait, Natural White, Garden Green, Old Olive;
Ink: Old Olive markers and Peach Parfait markers; Black Classic ink
Accessories: Eyelet Border punch, Anywhere glue stick, Basic Pearls

Thank you for visiting. I hope you had fun. See you tomorrow? God bless you.

Treat box

Welcome, stamper friends. I have not been with you for several days due to the fact I had my son and his family here for several days. We had a great, great visit. I love having family get togethers. My daughter was here several times and my other son was able to visit only once. I loved having special times with my grandchildren from morning 'til bed time. They have all gone to their homes and back to work. I sure miss them. I hope your week was filled with nothing but good times and great memories. How do you like the lil' treat box I'm sharing today? I made it at at Susie's stamp camp. Melissa had this cute box at her table and Karen had the cute cards to go in the box. Let me show you the cards.

Blossom Petals

Welcome to Wonderful Wednesday with me at Legacy Stamping. What is your legacy? Since you are here visiting with me, you are probably known for your love for stamping. You are probably addicted to taking photos of the family. You probably have a million scrap book pages running around in your brain and too little time to sit and scrap. Oh gee, I think I just described myself. Does that profile fit you too? Well, I think it's a good legacy for us to leave our family. I should add that I also have become very fond of blogging. I can add that to my legacy. And there's much more. But, you want to know about the card I'm sharing today. I'm sure by now you are familiar with the Blossom Petals punch and the Build a Blossom stamp set. You can find them both in the Occasions mini. Susie my upline made this card for us to copy. I was not to good at gluing the petals down in a pretty formation but getting my fingers all inked was lots of fun. I hope you enjoyed visiting today. Thank you for being here. God bless you.

Pattern Pieces

Welcome. I'm so glad you are here. I like what Karen did with this card. Karen is a quilter and an all around crafty person. So I'm sure this layout came to her very easily. It would have been a huge challenge for me. I like the way she combined the Springtime Vintage designer paper with the stamp set (Pattern Pieces). Both are in the Occasions mini. Have you taken a walk through the Occasions mini? I'll betcha you will be strolling through this mini several times and making a long, long wish list. You have until April 30 to make your purchases. So space them out. That's what I'm doing? Im also planning to place each of my $50 purchases to happen before March 31. Why? Because I want to take advantage of all the free products being offered in the Sale a Brations mini. That means that for every $50 net purchase we can pick something out of the Sale A Brations mini for FREE. If you don't already have your own demonstrator please feel free to order with me. You may order online at my store "Gloria Stamps" or contact me personally at my email address. Thank you for visiting. See you tomorrow. God bless you.

Three Flowers

Welcome stamper friends. Yesterday I shared the gift card holder I made for my grand daughter. Today, I am back to sharing an0ther swap card. I have two more for this week. Sarah made this card. Stampin' Up demos may recognize this card from our monthly magazine we get from Stampin' Up. See if you can figure out her modifications. Don't cha love the perks of being a demo? I thoroughly enjoy all the business tips and ideas we get from this magazine. I really appreciate the training via the website and also from the wonderful demo support ladies at the main office. Another perk I appreciate is our private Stampin Connections website which is a wealth of ideas and techniques between demos. I highly recommend to those who may be thinking of becoming a demonstrator.... to do it. If you change your mind ( I don't think you will) just drop out. It's easy to sign up. Just fill out the application online or fill out papers and mail them. If you already have a demonstrator please sign up with her. If you don't, you can sign up with me. Feel free to contact me if you have questions. Well, thank you for visiting today and stay tuned for the next card share. God Bless you.

Love You Much gift card holder

Welcome friends, It's Marvelous Monday. How was your week end? I had a great week end. Saturday morning was stamp camp at my upline's house. That's always fun. I'll be sharing those cards later on. I took care of some errands after the class. Then I had dinner with a dear friend. We always have such good times together. Sunday was church. That's always a blessing. Later I went to a farmers market. I needed to enjoy the sunshine and get some groceries. So I combined both needs and called it a super fun Sunday.
Today I'm sharing the birthday gift card I created for one of my grand daughters. I forgot to take a side photo so you could see that the inside has a tiny brown sack. The closure for the card is the Whisper White card just over the eyelet edge. The stamp set is Love you Much and the greeting is from Sincere Salutations. The pretty pink designer paper is from Love Patterns. My dgd was delighted to find a gift card inside to her favorite store. I hope you enjoyed today's share. Don't forget I 100% welcome comments. Also as usual my online store is open 24/7. To make your purchases sweeter, Stampin' Up is holding it's promotion of the year right now! Sale-a-.Brations!!! For every (every!) net purchase you can choose a free product from the Sale- a- Brations mini. At my store you can shop as you are (even in your jammies). Have a blessed day. Thank you for visiting.

Valentine /Top Note card

Welcome friends, bien venidos. I can't believe it's Friday already - but it's Fun and Fabulous Friday. Another day for me to share with you. I say that with love. Verse 13 in 1 Corinthians 13 says "the greatest of these is love". We can not be with out love. Yes, I know you want to know the who and the what of today's card share. Alicia made this one for all of us. Behind the Creamy Carmel card stock is a pocket for a love note or a photo. That Top Note die cut has so many uses besides being a focus point for a card. I have seen it used for gift cards and note totes and on clip boards as pockets. I bet there are more uses, I can't even think of. Thank you Alicia for the swap and for joining our group. Have a great week end everyone. See you next week. Thank you for being here. God bless you.

Filled with Love

Hi there friends. It's Truly Terrific Thursday. I'm so excited because love is in the air. My heart is filled with love. When I hear the word Love, I think of 1 Corinthians chapter 13. Very good words to live by. I find this card just perfect to convey my love to someone special. How about you? Pam used the stamp set Filled with Love from the Holiday mini. I will be using this set all year for various occasions. I love what she did with this card. Clean and simple for a 3 x 3 card. Very pretty Pam and thank you for making it for us.

Be My Valentine

Welcome back stamping friends. It's a Wonderful Wednesday as I get to visit with you again and I get to share with you. The card you are looking at is from Melissa. I love clean and simple. White, a touch of black and red for the focus color. Love it. The stamp is in our Occasions mini in the back of the book. Priced just right and has a beautiful vintage look. Thank you Melissa. Stay tuned for tomorrows share.
