Textured card with No Stamping

Hello friends, It's great to be back with you. I haven't shared in about ten days. Sorry. You know how life gets busy and hectic. It's still that way right now what with stamp classes to plan and prepare. Then there are cards to make for family and friends. Of course, I'm also getting paper work ready for taxes. Let's see, what else? Well, you get the picture. Speaking of pictures, did you notice the card share I have for you today? Of course, you did. That's why you are here. Well, this is a card I made for my monthly stamping group. Once a month we gather at my upline's house (Susie). I'm beginning to see a pattern because for the last 3-4 months we have done card swaps. So back to today's share. This is the card I made for the swap. The card has zero stamping. Not even on the inside! The card is made with Natural White card stock. I ran the card front through the Big shot using the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. I'm in love with all the Stampin' Up embossing folders. I love their price too - $7.95. The card is layered with retired Pale Plum card stock and pattern paper from my stash. I used the Pinking Hearts border punch on both layers. The ribbon is Lovely Lilac also retired. For the valentines, I ran Lovely Lilac and Lavender Lace card stock through the Big Shot with two different embossing folders. I used Perfect Polka Dots for one and the other was done with the Square Lattice embossing folder. I then used the Full Heart punch to punch out the valentines. This was a very easy card to make. Did you notice I also didn't use any ink on this card. Isn't that amazing? No stamps and no ink! I had lots fun working with that Big Shot though. It was fun visiting with you and I hope you enjoyed today's share. See you tomorrow? Say yes.

Top Note treat bag

Hello friends. It's Fabulous Friday. Today I'm sharing the wonderful gift I received from my friend Rose. She is a giver for sure. I tried to photograph a side view but was unable to get a good shot. Remember the small brown bags in the recent Holiday mini? Rose used one of those bags for the treats and two top notes for the front and back of the gift bag. It's much prettier in person. Don't you just adore the way she implemented the Filled With Love stamp set and the pattern paper? Adding the Glimmer paper heart and border of course polished the look of the entire layout. Thank you for visiting and leaving comments. I love comments. Have a blessed week end and I'll see you next week end.

Bigz Two Tags

Hello friends. Happy Wednesday. My guests had so much fun with these two cute items. Lots of laughs over these two projects. Girls will be girls. I really enjoy my self even more when I see how much fun they are having. I made both items with the Bigz Two Tags die cut. I love the Big Shot and the die cuts! Makes for easy peasy prep time. The second photo shows how the book mark can be slipped over a book page to mark the front and back of the page. Inside the folded note holder is a small love note. The kiss stamp has been in my stash for many years (maybe 20 years). For your shopping pleasure the shopping list is next.

Don't we? The card I am sharing today was one of the cards we made. It features Chocolate Chip card stock for the card base and is layered with Regal Rose card stock. I repeated the Chocolate Chip for the focus image and layered Whispered White for the stamp set. Here is the shopping list:

Melissa's card

Happy Friday friends. My card share for today is not Stampin' Up. We can still enjoy it though. I do. Don't you just want to go take a bubble bath and be reading a good book right now. That's what I think every time I see this card. Well, have a blessed week end and I hope you will get some stamping time. See you next week. Thank you for visiting.

Aviary

Hello friends. Happy Thursday. I received this card from my down line Melissa. The camera does not show how beautiful this card is. The card base is Concord Crush which I love. Some of you may remember Vintage Violet card stock. If I still had some Vintage Violet, I would pair it with Concord Crush. It would make for a pretty nice color combo. Back to the card here. It is layered with Basic Black and Whisper White card stock. The stamp set is Aviary (on my wish list). Aviary can be purchased in wood mount #116956 or clear mount #120462. The embellishments are two oval punches and Black satin ribbon. The black card stock was run through the Big Shot using the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. I wish I had a better photo to show you. Enjoy what you can. Thank you for visiting. Hasta manana.

Elements of Style

There you are. Welcome. Come on in. I know what you're thinking. "How goofy is she?" Am I right? That's what you were thinking. Right? Okay, I'll stop. Don't cha just love this card. This card was made by Sharon B. Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White are so striking together. I love the lay out, the water coloring, the glitter, the border, the sentiment, the stamp set. That about covers everything. I highly recommend this stamp set. Elements of Style #118611 (wm), or #120045 (cm). This set is one you can use year after year and never tire of it. So if you are shopping today or any day, you may do your shopping at my online store. It's open right now. In fact, it's open 24/7. Well, I must get back to preparing cards for my next stamp camp. Want to come? Let me know if you do, so I can be ready for you too. Thank you for visiting. Happy stamping.
